Nebraska is the keystone state of the U.S. irrigated agriculture economy — more irrigated acres than any other state, sitting atop the eastern Ogallala Aquifer, with a deep operator pool, established commodity markets, and the highest density of center-pivot systems in North America.
For investors, Nebraska combines yield certainty, water security in well-managed Natural Resource Districts, and basis efficiency relative to Corn Belt states.
Lodgepole Capital is active across Nebraska's principal agricultural regions — the Platte Valley irrigated corridor, the Sandhills ranch country, the rainfed eastern counties — with both cropland and ranch mandates currently under management.
