The Firm

A specialist investment manager,
rooted in the land.

Lodgepole Capital is a real-asset investment manager focused on direct ownership of working agricultural and commercial real estate across the Great Plains and Rocky Mountain region. Nationwide reach, five service lines, one firm discipline.

Mission portrait
01 / Mission

We acquire, manage, and steward working agricultural and commercial real estate for investors with long horizons.

Lodgepole Capital is named for the conifer that holds the ridgeline where lesser species cannot survive. The metaphor is intentional. Our practice exists for the investor who values direct ownership, patient compounding, and full tax flexibility over fund packaging and carried-interest extraction.

We accept a small number of new investor partnerships each year. We are not seeking scale — we are seeking the right partnerships.

02 / Disposition

A measured disposition, practised across every touchpoint.

Direct

Direct legal title in the investor’s name. No fund vehicle, no co-investment, no fractional structure.

Disciplined

Disciplined execution. Long-term stewardship. The investor keeps 100% of the upside.

Specialist

Working agricultural and commercial real estate across seven Plains and Mountain West states.

Patient

Underwritten to multi-decade horizons. Income compounds quietly across cycles.

03 / Chronology

The practice, in chapters.

05 / Markets

Mountain West,
with national reach.

Nationwide reach — Nebraska, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Kansas, North Dakota, and South Dakota — selected for soil quality, water security, operator depth, and basis efficiency.

Outside these primary markets, we accept selective mandates across the United States — particularly where 1031 exchange opportunities or institutional family-office allocations span multiple regions.
